Giant structure

Generally defined as large span aluminium frame or tensioned pole tents that are in excess of 25m wide. These are considered specialist structures.

These can be 30m, 40, or 50m span frame tents usually needing the aid of telescopic plant or cranes to erect and dismantle. Giant pole tents can usually be erected manually, thus differentiating them from big tops that require plant.

Very few hirers are competent to deliver them safely.
