MUTA’s Executive Committee make it three for 2023

MUTA is pleased to announce that Nick Drew of CoverMarque has joined the Executive Committee.

Nick becomes the third member to join the Exec this year, following the appointment of Jenna Ackerley and Ross Robertson a few months ago.

Nick established CoverMarque, a specialist insurance broker, over 20 years ago. Since then the company has become a well established and trusted firm in the temporary structure and events industry.

Lee Dalton, sales director of Roder UK and MUTA president, said: “Nick has been a big supporter of the association for many years so I’m pleased that we’ve finally recruited his services.

“I’m sure Nick will play a key part in helping us raise industry standards.”

Nick joins the Exec as a co-opted member having been recruited part way through the year. A full Executive Committee election will take place at next year’s AGM.

The Exec is a small group of elected members who set the strategy and direction for MUTA. All Exec members are volunteers and give up their time, commitment and expertise for free.

MUTA’s Exec members for 2023-24 are Lee Dalton (Roder UK), Johnny Cooper (Coopers Marquees), Robert Carter (J&J Carter), Phil Grenville-Hunt (Mar-Key Group), Ross Robertson (Arena Group), Jenna Ackerley (Events Under Canvas), Joe Baillie (co-opted) and Nick Drew (co-opted).
